Solo UW build :)
OK here it goes.
Mending--> for godly tanks.
Balthazars Spirit
Essence Bond
Prot Spirit
Healing Breeze
Guardian
Blessed Signet
Spiteful Spirit {E}
Attributes:
12 Curses
13 Healing
9 Prot
Rest in divine
Equipment:
I use a Fiery Flame Splitter of Enchanting and the -50hp cesta of course.
Ok so you are in underworld..
First start off by casting the enchants on you and use blessed signet until you are at full energy. Then proceed on using a enchantment on you so you'll have 4.Aggro the Aatxes and hide behind the ghosts.(Pic. 1)
If a nightmare pops out, it should kill itself if you have 4 enchants on you. Then cast the enchants. again and aggro the aatxes.
Now for the fun part..
First use prot spirit and then breeze on you. Use blessed signet if you dont have enough energy and then use Mending so 1 of the aatxes uses savage slash, and then recast it again so the other Aatxe will use savage slash too.
Now you are free to use Spiteful Spirit but in case 1 of the aatxes doesnt use savage slash, cast Guardian on you. Its far from perfect i know but it helps a bit.
Then repeat the process and use Spiteful Spirit on the other aatxe. They should die in less than 1min if you do it right..
Gasping Darkness:
Well this is the hard part...Go take the quest from the Lost Soul and then cast Prot Spirit and Healing breeze before Aggroing them. Lure the first 4 darkness and use Guardian right after they use distracting blow. Refresh your enchants and recast Guardian. Now try to use Spiteful Spirit on them. If they Interrupt it repeat the process.1 Spiteful Spirit should get them to 10% health so you can just wand them to death if you want to.
In pic 3 they dazed me..You cant hide behind ghosts, so try to run around till you are able to cast prot spirit. (Pic 2,3)
I havent gotten to smites yet, so I will update this build once I do..
Excuse me for my English
The Drops:
Well I did only 3 runs and then we lost favor, but look what I got

Just curious...how much faster is this than using SoJ (did you time the two to compare)? I have the run down solid with SoJ, though it's definitely slow. Of course, I'm still trying to consistently master those Grasping Darknesses...they always seem to randomly interupt me at the wrong time, or drain my energy completely...
Cool build...I'll play around with it to see how it compares. Let me know if you've compared already.

What do you do if nightmares aggro when you're on the upper tier? Aatxes run faster than you, you won't make it to the ghosts usually. What if one spawns at the upper stairs, by the door to the Reaper of the Labyrinth? What if you get bodyblocked?
In any case, don't try smites.. Smite hex > Spiteful spirit, although you might be able to kill behemoths.

Its hard to explain but I will try...Use prot spirit and then wait 5s to recharge. Then aggro the aatxes and run..As soon as you see the nightmare use rend click prot spirit.

It's A LOT faster. 3 rounds of SS are enough to kill 3 or more aatxes which means 30-40 seconds.

It usually takes me around 3-4 rounds of SOJ to kill a group of 4 Aatxes, with the +20 enchant and FFS. And it takes me like 2-3 rounds of SOJ to kill 5 Smites.
Would it still be faster? Bc if I am gonna change my secondary I want to make sure lol
What about the grasping Darkness.. they must interupt a lot...

I have been testing out a Mo/N build. I have been soloing the UW with a MO/ME for a long time but wanted to try somethign new. MO/ME is a safer way to solo. The MO/N build is faster for sure, but counting interrupts it might be about equal. Spiteful spirit gets interrupted a ton. I used SS, Shadow of Fear, and Insidiious on my last run and sometimes the Attaxes would interrupt every spell all in a row.
One of the things that I have noticed is that the attaxes seem to savage slash on certain spells more so than others. They will try to hit your breeze every time you cast it as well as SS. So on the last couple runs I would spam breeze to get them to use the savage slashes to cast spiteful. Sometimes it is almost a relief when SS finishes casting.

You will be there for ages against smites trying to kill them with SS without a cover hex to make them waste their smite hexes.
N/mo is the way to go if you want speed and damage. If you feel that you need the divine favor bonus then go the mo/n route.

Bumpy, got 2 ectos in 5 runs today.
EDIT: I forgot to say that I'm not doing this for profit and nor is *that* profitable, I just do it for the thrill of it.

im currently an ss/sv and i also have done 55 runs myself (unsuccessfully).
What the heck does hiding behind the ghosts do? say i aggro an aaxte from top of stairs.. if i run behind the ghost what will happen? wont he just beat the crap out of me stil or does he run away because hes scarred of the ghosts lol? what about the lost soul.. is that considered different from the other ghosts?
i just dont get what hiding behind them does. please explain.
